Research Interest

Our research group is passionately engaged in the field of electrocatalysis, focusing on integrating diverse in-situ characterizations with machine learning to enhance our fundamental understanding of reaction mechanisms. We delve into the intricate dynamics of molecular interactions under electrical influence, aiming to unravel the complexities of reaction pathways and seek new optimization strategies. Our methods include employing in-situ X-ray, infrared, and Raman spectroscopy to investigate surface reaction intermediates and monitor catalyst evolution. In addition, we are pioneering in catalysts design and electrochemical devices optimization for different electrochemical applications. We approach our research with the mindset of a scientist as a detective, keenly exploring the reaction mechanisms driving chemical reactions.
